To pursue seamless environmental regulation and regulatory practice across jurisdictions.

Deliverables

1. Support the COAG Working Group on Environment Regulation Reform deliver its reform agenda, ensuring that the process delivers dividends for the environment and the economy
2. Identify and pursue opportunities for harmonisation in environmental regulatory practice, based on an “opt-in” model
3. Enhanced national environmental standards and regulation
